Two face felony charges in destruction of nutcrackers

NELSONVILLE — Two men face felony vandalism charges stemming from Friday morning’s destruction of two nutcracker holiday decorations in Nelsonville.

Justin Huling, 24, of Cincinnati, and Taylor Whitehill, 23, of Mason, are scheduled to appear Monday in Athens County Municipal Court on the felony charges, according to Nelsonville Police Sgt. Ed Kurtz. Also to appear in court is James Degrace, 24, of West Chester, a Hocking College student who is charged with failure to report a crime, a misdemeanor, Kurtz said.
