NELSONVILLE — Darrow M Tolliver, 77, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away Nov. 9, 2013, at University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Darrow was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Gordon and Ada Tolliver. He was a Nelsonville High School graduate; served in the US Marines; owned and operated T&M Machine Products in Nelsonville; one of the longest members of the Elks 543; member of the VFW in Nelsonville; member of the American Legion in Murray City; and a member of the Moose Lodge in Logan.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Tolliver; son, Darrow G. Tolliver of Nelsonville; daughters, Pamela J (Robert) Garner of Chillicothe, and Paula C. Tolliver of Midland, Mich.; stepson, Ryan M. (Katie) McGuire of Buchtel; stepdaughter, Kristina R. McGuire of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Jennifer Tolliver, and Katie (Jake) O’Rourke of Nelsonville, Krista Garner, and Brandon Garner, both of Chillicothe; and stepgrandchildren, Travis Taggart, Aiden McGuire, Colon McGuire, and Camie McGuire all of Nelsonville.

Darrow was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margie Tolliver, who passed away in 1990; son, Rocky Tolliver; stepdaughter, Katrina Taggart; and a brother, Wilbur Tolliver.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating.

Burial will be in Connett Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio, where Military Graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard.

Calling hours will be observed Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., with the Elks service being held at 7:30, at the funeral home.
