GUYSVILLE — A Glouster man was listed in fair condition Saturday afternoon at Grant Medical Center in Columbus after being injured in a traffic accident Friday evening on Route 50 near Guysville.

The State Highway Patrol said that Bruce Doughty, 52, of Glouster, was taken to Grant by MedFlight. The patrol also reported that Pamela Simmons, 55, and Eric Simmons, 56, both of Clarksburg, W.Va., were taken by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries, but a hospital spokeswoman said there was no record of them being treated there.

The patrol said that Doughty drove his sport utility vehicle from Route 329 into the path of a car being driven westbound on Route 50 by Pamela Simmons.
