Nicole Steyer, of Athens, is proud to announce the birth of her first child, Elijah John Steyer. Born Jan. 24, at 9:33 p.m., at O’Bleness Hospital, weighing 6 pounds 11.1 ounces, and 18.5 inches long.

Aelxander Preschool registration will be March 25-26 from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Alexander Elementary School, 6091 Ayres Rd., Albany. Children must be 4 years old by Aug. 1, 2020, and will need to be present at the screening. You must be a resident of the Alexander School District.

A Hymn Sing will be held Friday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. the McDougal Church, located at the corner of Rt. 550 and McDougal Road. Everyone is invited to join and bring a song.
