LOGAN — The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls has announced the return of Anthony Schulz as its executive chef. According to a press release, he will oversee all dining at the inn, including preparation and ingredient procurement, as well as leading many of the inn’s cooking classes. Schulz also will design menus that feature fresh, in-season ingredients grown on-site.

Schultz returns to the inn after seven years with the Hocking College Culinary Program.

“The Inn at Cedar Falls has long enjoyed a reputation as one of Ohio’s best country inns, due in large part to the unforgettable culinary experiences it offers,” said Schulz. “I’m excited to plan a variety of unique culinary events for our guests, as I love being visible and connecting with our visitors on that personal level.”

With more than 20 years of experience in all areas of the food and hospitality industry, Schulz attended the French Culinary Institute in New York City, graduating in 2003. He also has worked for New York caterers Tentation Potel et Chabot and Blu Spoon Catering, where he prepared food for such clients as Trump World Towers, Cartier Jewelers and the New York Metropolitan Opera. Schulz also brings extensive knowledge of wine and food pairings to the inn’s guests.

The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls is located a half mile above Hocking Hills’ Cedar Falls. The region offers a variety of recreational opportunities including hiking, bird watching, canoeing and fishing. Reservations and complete information are available at www.innatcedarfalls.com or 1-800-653-2557.
