Cox 65th wedding anniversary

Jack and Shirley Cox of Nelsonville, OH, formerly of Sandusky, celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple was married Feb 25, 1956 at First Christian Church in Sandusky, by the Rev. Ray Bosh.

They are the parents of the Rev. Erin (Kent) Cox-Holmes of Lititz, Penn, and Bret R. Cox of Nelsonville, OH. The couple have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jack retired as a magazine and book editor and author. Shirley retired as a Registered Nurse. The couple conspired together on a lovingly written historical novel about a circus clown, and they are currently writing a second historically based novel about the old west.
