Elks Lodge donates fire extinguishers to Carthage Twp. fire department

On Aug. 10 the Athens Elks Lodge #973 donated $750 in grant money to Carthage Twp. Volunteer Fire Department to help replace all of their fire extinguishers on the fire trucks. This will provide updated safety equipment for the firefighters as well as the community they serve. The grant money was provided from the Ohio Elks Association Community Service Grant.
