OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital in Athens has raised more than $10,000 for donation to the Southeast Ohio Foodbank. The Operation Feed campaign was a month-long fundraiser that included the participation of associates in nearly every department of the hospital. The amount raised surpassed last year's total of $7,542.

According to Asti Payne, development and community relations coordinator for the food bank, every dollar raised will provide five meals to hungry families in the community. The funds raised in this year's campaign will provide more than 296 pounds of food, according to a press release.
