When Joe Lucas bought his farm on Route 550 in 1964, there were many working farms up and down that same road. Now, Joe’s farm is the only one left. The cattle farm still sees a lot of action. Joe gets lots of help these days from the younger generation. Spring is right around the corner. Soon the fields will be green with fresh grass, just right for munching. Now his cows have their newborn calves by their sides, which is a cute sight if you are driving by. Joe is never happier than when he is out with the frisky newborn calves on a sunny day.
