People gather around Trevellya Ford-Ahmed as she stops at the Mount Zion Baptist Church on Carpenter Street in Athens. This was just one of the stops during historic walking tour led by Ford-Ahmed as part of the Juneteenth celebration. The intent of the tour was to chronicle the buildings, or lack of, buildings originally constructed by free-borne, enslaved and indigenous people.
