The Athens County Board of Elections has cancelled the Regular Board Meeting scheduled for today Monday, Dec. 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Board Office. The meeting will be rescheduled.
The Athens County Data Processing Board will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Conference Room.
The City of Nelsonville Government Offices will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24 at noon, as well as all day Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Dec. 26 for Christmas. The City Offices will re-open on Friday, Dec. 27.
The Athens-Hocking Solid Waste District will hold its next regular board meeting on Monday, Dec. 16, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. next to the Solid Waste District Offices, located at 1111 Chestnut Street Nelsonville, Ohio 45764.
The Athens Twp. Trustees will close Peach Ridge Road (Twp. Road 213) for through traffic on Monday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A crane will be there for installing tower upgrades in the area of North Point Drive to 10644.
