Tech Ambassadors to Visit Athens

Ohio’s Tech Ambassadors will share their experiences with supportive technology during a visit to Athens on Thursday, Feb. 23.

Chris Cooley and Tanner Huff will demonstrate some of the technologies that help them live more independently from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St.

Attendees will have a chance to win an Amazon Echo Show 5 (only for individuals and family members who pre-register and are present at the time of the giveaway).

This Day in History

On this day, Jan. 10, 1776, Thomas Paine, an English-born American political activist, philosopher, political theorist and revolutionary, published Common Sense, a 50-page pamphlet that sold more than 500,000 copies within a few months and called for a war of independence that would eventually become the American Revolution.
