Athens County voters were in a civic-minded mood on Tuesday, approving every single city, village and township levy on the ballot.
However, the Coolville electric aggregation ordinance was rejected by voters, with 31 votes in favor and 75 votes against.
Full election night totals are available online at www.athensmessenger.com and will be published in the newspaper later this week.
Here’s a list of all the levies approved by voters, according to unofficial results provided by the Athens County Board of Elections. There are provisional ballots still to be counted, but none of the levies appear close enough to face a threat of reversal.
Townships: Alexander fire; Alexander cemetery; Ames road maintenance; Bern fire; Carthage fire; Lee fire; Lodi permanent improvements; Lodi road maintenance; Rome emergency services; Rome cemetery; Trimble fire; Troy fire; Troy road maintenance; Waterloo road maintenance; York cemetery.
Cities: Nelsonville road maintenance.
Villages: Albany police; Amesville current expenses; Buchtel expenses; Glouster police; Trimble road maintenance.
