Wednesday, April 17
12:21 a.m., — The Sheriff’s Office received confirmation from the Athens City Police Department that city officers had arrested Michael Anthony Miller, 29, of Nelsonville, who had multiple active warrants for his arrest. Sheriff’s deputies transported Miller to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
7:27 a.m., Buchtel Food Mart, Route 78 — Deputies responded to a report that two windows had been broken at the store sometime during the early morning hours. A store employee recognized a “frequently disorderly” patron on the store’s security footage. Deputies made contact with the suspect, who admitted to breaking the windows, and also admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamines, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The suspect was charged with criminal damaging.
10:11 a.m., Four Mile Creek Road, Coolville — Michael Travis, 20, of Coolville, turned himself into Athens County Sheriff’s deputies for a warrant out of Washington County. Athens County deputies transported Travis to the Washington County line to be picked up by deputies there.
3:02 p.m., Sheriff’s Office, West Washington Street — Deputies took a report regarding a theft of hunting gear and subwoofers from a vehicle on West Wilson Street in New Marshfield. The case is under investigation.

Friday, April 12
2:05 a.m., Morton Hall — Michael D. Hoedt was issued a citation charging underage consumption and fictitious ID. Officers transported Hoedt to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
11:38 p.m., Mill Street — A juvenile was taken into custody and cited with a marked traffic lane violation and operating a vehicle under the influence. The juvenile was released to a parent after processing.
Saturday, April 13
1:18 a.m., McCracken Hall — Cole Wayne Williams was issued a citation charging underage consumption/intoxication, and was transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
2:41 a.m., Seigfred Hall — Cameron M. Saliga was issued a citation for disorderly conduct/intoxication, and was transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
9:51 p.m., Sky Luke Whitson was arrested on a charge of physical control of a vehicle while under the influence.
Sunday, April 14
2:04 a.m., Alden Library — Citations were issued to Jacob E. Cole and Seth J. Skaggs charging disorderly conduct/fighting.
4:32 p.m., Baker University Center — Justin M. White was arrested on charges of persistent disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
