12:18 p.m., West Union Street — Athens Police responded to a report of criminal damaging at Cat’s Corner on West Union Street. Two flag holders on the front of the building were damaged.

Athens County Sheriff’s Office:

Monday, June 10

1:31 a.m., Coolville The sheriff’s office received confirmation that Marietta Police arrested Carrie Britton, age 32, of Lowell, on an active Athens County warrant. Deputies met with the Marietta Police Department at the county line to retrieve Britton. Britton was transported to regional jail.

10:54 a.m., Athens — The sheriff’s office was dispatched to Coolville Ridge Road after receiving a report from a man advising his house had been broken into over the weekend while away. Multiple items were taken from the residence and the case is under investigation at this time.

5:58 p.m., Stewart — The sheriff’s office responded to New England Road for a report of a parking complaint. Deputies spoke with the homeowners who moved the vehicle from the intersection. While deputies were gaining information from the homeowner, dispatch advised the male had an active warrant for his arrest. Robbie Minthorne, age 29, of Stewart was transported to regional jail without incident.
