12:01 a.m. — Courtney L. Dunfee was transported to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on an Athens County warrant. William E. Morgan was transported to SEORJ on Athens and Hocking county warrants.

9:52 a.m. — Officers responded to a complaint of slashed tires on a vehicle near Bromley Hall.

1:21 p.m. — Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle hitting scaffolding, causing damage to a back window.

2:07 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of a hit-skip accident with property damage at Konneker Alumni Center.

Thursday, May 23

Athens County Sheriff’s Office:

12:40 a.m. — Deputies responded to a noise disturbance report on South Second Street in Jacksonville. Deputies reportedly observed no noise, but advised the resident to keep the noise down at the request of neighbors.

9:34 a.m. — Deputies responded to Rock Run Road in Coolville for a report of an abandoned vehicle at a campground. Officials could not locate the vehicle described.

2:18 p.m. — Deputies responded to a Pine Street residence in Athens for a report of a child custody dispute. Deputies spoke with the complainant, who reported his wife left with his son. Contact was made with the mother and deputies obtained a valid address for a well-being check on the juvenile. No further action was taken.

Friday, May 24

Athens Police Department:

11:41 a.m. — Officers responded to Tractor Supply for the report of a stolen trailer. A report was taken.

12:02 p.m. — A complainant on North Shafer Street reported his apartment was entered some time between May 18 and 19. A report was taken.

12:20 p.m. — A complainant on West Union Street reported her apartment was entered while she was away. Nothing was reportedly taken from the apartment.

Sunday, May 26

Athens Police Department:

5:54 p.m. — Officers responded to a vehicle fire on South Congress Street.
