9:24 a.m., Millfield — The sheriff’s office took a report of a breaking and entering of a storage building on Mill Creek Road.. The complainant said someone had entered his building and stole a chainsaw and nothing else from the building. Deputies will be conducting more patrols in the area.
3:35 p.m., Athens — The sheriff’s office took a report of a theft of a trailer on Fisher Road. This incident is under investigation.
5:03 p.m., Hockingport — The sheriff’s office responded to the Athens Boat and Ski Club on Route 124 in Hockingport for a report of criminal damaging. The complainant stated that multiple campers were broken in to. This case is pending further investigation.
8:52 p.m., Glouster — The sheriff’s office responded to Congress Run Road on a report of a landlord/tenant dispute. The landlord, who was highly intoxicated, had previously been warned by deputies to leave his tenants alone for the evening. It was then reported that the landlord made threats, and spun the tires of his truck through his tenant’s yard. He was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct.
