8:05 a.m., Guysville — The sheriff’s office took a report of a vehicle vandalized on Route 329. Someone had removed the trim surrounding the headlights of a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. Deputies patrolled a nearby known drug house and individuals were seen working on a Jeep Cherokee resembling the same year and model of the vandalized Jeep. No parts matching the description of the trim stolen were found on or near the Jeep.

6:45 p.m., Nelsonville — The sheriff’s office responded to Imperial Street in Nelsonville for a reported vehicle theft. The caller reported his red and black side-by-side and the black trailer it was stored on had been stolen. Anyone with possible information is urged to contact the Athens County Sheriff’s Office. The incident is under further investigation pending review of security camera footage.
