Archery has paid off for two Nelsonville-York seniors. Lily Walter and Morgan Clark were chosen to receive archery scholarships from Hocking College in Nelsonville. They are both members of the Nelsonville-York Arrowheads Archery club.

Lily, the daughter of Amy Kline, has been shooting archery for seven years, and was a first runner-up of the Jacksonville Old Settler’s Reunion. She is also a member of the Twirling Superstars of Ohio and is in the N-Y Marching Band. She plans on studying Early Childhood Education.

In addition to shooting archery for the past eight years, Morgan, daughter of Lindsay Smith, also plays softball and is in the band and choir. She was named first runner up, Miss Parade of the Hills, and is planning on going into the nursing program.
