May 1964 — President Lyndon Johnson and his daughter, Lynda Bird, visited Athens. Sitting in an opened convertible, LBJ and his daughter parade down Court Street as a Secret Service man runs beside. Afterwards, the President gave a speech on poverty at the West Portico on the College Green.
